Shri Rama said: What is this, O Lord, that dances in the universal destruction? With whom does she dance, and what is the purpose of her holding a winnowing fan, a fruit basket, and other such objects?
Vasishtha said: That is neither a man nor a woman, nor is that dance real, nor are both of them real. In such a state and in such behavior, there is no form for them.
acetanaṃ yaccinmātraṃ na taccinmātramucyate | na ca cinmātranabhaso naṣṭaṃ kvacana yujyate || 10 ||
That which is non-conscious and pure consciousness is not called pure consciousness. And it is not appropriate to say that pure consciousness is destroyed anywhere.
That which is the creation and dissolution of the three worlds, the sky, the earth, and the directions, is called destruction and production without manifestation.

Truth and falsehood, as well as the absence of truth and foolishness, are considered wisdom. The calculation of place, time, action, and substance is also considered wisdom.
Ignorance and knowledge are thus established in the consciousness-filled space of the self. Therefore, there is no difference, duality, or non-duality; let there be peace.
As long as the individual soul does not realize its true, flawless nature, it continues to create waves in the great ocean of its own worldly existence.
jñāne tu śāntiṃ sa tathopayāti yathā na so'bdhirna taraṅgako'sau | yathāsthitaṃ sarvamidaṃ ca śāntaṃ bhavatyanantaṃ parameva tasya || 26 ||
In knowledge, one attains such peace that the ocean and its waves are not different from it. Everything remains as it is, peaceful, infinite, and supreme.
